mjane93 said:Thank you all for your messages. Definitely helped keep us sane whist waiting to get they keys. We showed up to the house to collect the keys at 2pm and they were just finishing up packing. My goodness I don’t think I’ve ever seen a house so dirty though and a huge bag of rubbish was left under the stairs as the bins were full. All in all I’m glad we have the keys and ready to give this house some TLC to get it up to scratch!
our house was clean but needed lots of air and now smells lovely!!1 -
One move I made - 2 bedroom house furniture including wardrobes and a piano, the removals van had arrived before me, so I went in closely followed by men carrying furniture, and I put the cats in their baskets on the kitchen worktop while I decided what best to do with them while the unloading was done, went back out to see the men more or less passing most of my stuff in my stuff in - reminded me of the lines of people passing buckets of water to put a fire out - and it was so busy I never got back to the cats till the men had gone - 20 minutes later! I think they must have been quiet that day and everyone had come on my removal!
And the house was spotless.
Enjoy your new home, OP.1
