Onkyo HF music app not syncing anymore.

  have the Onkyo HF app installed on my Samsung Galaxy Note 20, but it doesn't seem to be showing newly added music after I sync.

I used to be able to just drag and drop new music folders into the relevant artist folder, then sync. When I do that now and then sync it doesn't show any of the new albums.

Is there something I am doing wrong, or is there a recommended way to add new music to the phone?

Android has its own syncing software built in so if Android can't see it it may well be that the app can't see it either.  For reasons best known to Google Android sometimes decides not to update its media database, especially if you copy to it from USB.

I have the app on my iPad and to be honest I found it rubbish, always took a few attempts to actually link with my Onkyo system and once linked it left big pauses between tracks (playlists I made in iTunes) and skipping a track caused the whole thing to fail, can't get it to work at all now.  I notice that it was pretty poorly rated.

Thanks for the link. I ran the app, but it didn't seem to make any difference once I synced the player again. I might not have grasped how the app is supposed to work though. I can still use the search function for newly added albums.
