Hi
Sorry for not posting for a couple of days, busy and tiring.
I drove DB1 to Hastings on Tuesday and picked him up today. I also babysat two of my nieces yesterday. Other than that it’s been a reasonably quiet few days. My plans for tomorrow are:- Finish sleeve of pink jumper
- Blitz kitchen
- Sort out shredding and empty into brown bin in garden
- Go through stuff in fridge and work out ways to use up anything close to turning
- Sell week’s holiday at work
- Request eye test voucher from work
- Get rid of unneeded study books from course

Evening allI seem to have missed this week - again!!But today I have:Walked dog - free exercise. Not much though, as he wouldn't venture far. Lazy little toadCleaned bathroomLoad of washing, pegged outside, but it keeps raining today!Put previous load of (dry) washing awayPicked up the couple of things I needed from the corner shop instead of going to the supermarket where there are far too many temptations. Spent £2.94 on bread and onions.Checked banks and updated spending bookPaid the milkmanDid a paid surveyOrdered nematodes to protect my strawberry plants from vine weevils. Used a survey voucher towards paying for them.Made a strange but yummy dinner out of a couple of biggish courgettes (of course), a small pot of leftover shepherds pie base and some grated cheese. Served it with a few spicy chips and copious amounts of green beans. Much nicer than it soundsI have to go out babysitting GCs shortly, but will take my budget book with me and reconcile August's budget which I realise I haven't yet done. I also need to write to my elderly aunt.2

Hi all,Today was good from a money saving perspective, I submitted request to “sell” some annual leave at work as my week off was covered by a medical certificate and our holiday year ends only a couple of weeks after I go back. Will get around £300 for that hopefully. Also requested an eye care voucher so work will pay my eye test fee. Lastly, work are offering a voucher for free flu jab via Boots (as we would usually be offered it in the office but we are still working from home) so I’ve requested that as well.
Tomorrow will be SW first thing, then I’m hoping to finish clearing the kitchen and make a start on blitzing the bathroom. Also would like to do the little bit of ironing we have, just to get it out the way and to finish my sleeve of my jumper (keep on forgetting to do it 🤦♀️🤦♀️). Anything I can’t do tomorrow can just be carried forward to the following day. No spending planned for the weekend.
