Tandem savings app

My son has just installed this App and there is no account number or sort code for his instant access savings account. This feels a bit weird and a bit concerned it is not right. Anyone else found this please? Also reviews of Tandem that have popped up on the web are not flattering.

Once logged in, tap on the savings account (depending on the type of account, you might need to click on the saver/fixed saver tab first).

You'll then see a screen with 3 buttons - pay in, pay out and info

If you hit info, it'll show the account details.

If you've connected an account, you can pay in/pay out using the Tandem app, without needing to use the sort code/account number.

There is nothing wrong with Tandem. Superb rate for instant access, and full FSCS cover. App uses latest technology, which seems to put off some people.

He needs to click on the account, then he sees Pay in, Pay out, and Info. On the Info button, it shows sort code and account number.

He needs to make an initial deposit using Open Banking, via the Pay in button. He can mkae subsequent deposits the same way, or via Faster Payment / Standing Order.

Deposits into Tandem show within 2 hours, often much faster. 

Withdrawals arrive in the verified current account within half an hour, including at weekends.

Just to be aware I made an initial deposit of £1000 (I should have done a smaller amount in hindsight). I've been told by CS deposits can take up to 24 hours to show on the app.

Update - 2 deposits arrived shortly after the 2 hour mark
