equity in rentals 550k, similar in home
I bought them before we married but was earning big money at the time so put in her name for tax purposes. BIG ERROR I KNOW
So if you like they were her assets before we married.
marital home was mine before we married.

I’m not bothered about any restriction on home as I definitely don’t want to sell

i just don’t want the rentals disposed of and then coming back to me for more money.

I’m not bitter, honestly, just covering all eventualities!

Not really a big error, both houses are part of the matrimonial assets so as far as divorce is concerned it does not matter who owns what the final split will still be the same.

You need to use a solicitor.

Just get a good solicitor, with an estate likely to be in excess of £1M time is often of the essence to server disclosure notices etc .

Dependent on your affordability I would employ a solicitor now and start proceedings and get it (the notice) served.

There are injunctions you can apply for, but this can come across as an aggressive divorce power play and can be costly to progress through the court, they also add time time to the overall length of proceedings, I would reserve these for dire essential circumstances.
