I will keep you posted but if the meteorologists are to be believed, mine is unlikely to be used in the next 7 daysDoozergirl said:
Yes. It's a brand new house and it was great last winter, but I know that the house is insulated and airtight. The temperature was ambient and we didn't need anything on upstairs at all. I'd be much more nervous in an older house. Our old house barely retained the heat from radiators!DRP said:
Very very nice. Underfloor heating? How is it? I would like to have ufh in our at-the-design-and-financing-stage rear extension, but it is hard to find objective information on it…Doozergirl said:There's some photos of the business end here:

Thought an update might be appreciated. We are now one week in to building works to remove the walls between kitchen and dining room to create a new kitchen/diner, pretty much as per Doozergirl's ideas.
It's a building site right now but can add a pic when it looks a bit more finished.
Thanks all for the input and help.2 -
Happy to be of assistance! It would be nice to see it done 🙂Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

It's finished, aside from a few finishing touches and a dining table
