Washing machine waste overflowing under sink.

Photos of the under sink setup is really needed here to get better understanding. The old adage a picture paints a 1000 words etc etc1

I am still trying to figure out how they have changed the outlet from the machine as they are usually hard fixed right back to the pump. I suspect the problem could be the stand pipe is too low. Or maybe the pipe is soft blocked with sludge, a wire will go right through it but it will slow the water down. My outlet pipe is simply tied with a piece of string from the screw hole in the bend former to a pipe clip on the stand pipe.

Sounds to me like all the waste stand pipes and U-bend traps need dismantling, cleaning and reassembling to sort out the old sludge build up from soap scum, food and fat waste.
That's a plumber's or d-i-y job.
Plungers and wires don't do a 'proper job'. Nor afaik do any of the chemical drain cleaners.

Thanks for all replies, here is a picture of under the sink, not entirely sure what waste on top is the washing machine and which is the dishwater, tap waste is on a standpipe of its own. I have also put the new washing machine waste in the picture too as the old waste was used, but as you can see the new waste pipe for washing machine is at least half the diameter of the old waste, was hoping this is the problem, and the narrower waste when fitted would restrict the water flow and cure the problem.

If you mean the grey pipe with connectors each end it is not a waste pipe it is the cold inlet hose connector the outlet pipe should be in place on the back of the machine and just needs unwinding and pushing onto the waste pipe.1

As cajef has pointed out and was suspected that hose is the inlet and changing it will make absolutely no difference to your predicament.
It sounds more like an issue with the waste pipe leading to the drain (as rodders said) rather than anything to do with the appliance(s).
Can you take a photo showing us how that waste pipe runs under the shelf or if you are confident enough, remove the trap and clean it out - could be messy.
When is the appliance guy booked for?Sorry I can't think of anything profound, clever or witty to write here.1 -
aww thanks I didn't know that, just wondering then did the installer of machine just unscrew the waste outlet pipe at back of machine and attach the old waste outlet, and also is the proper waste outlet pipe much larger in diameter that the water inlet pipe that you have pointed out?
Hopefully I will get it sorted.
Thanks to all for help once again.0 -
They can't unscrew it, it is hard connected to the back of the machine and cannot be undone.
