Confused over tariff prices quoted on cheapenergyclub

I read the weekly email yesterday regarding the energy price hikes and advice to switch now. As a member of cheapenergyclub I have searched today to fix before costs rise.  There are no results showing which allow you to fix now before the hikes come into effect? Currently I pay £1298 yearly with So Energy. If I stay with them I will pay £1630 on their standard tariff. The cheapest fix I can find is £1664 so it appears that the hikes will happen whether I switch now for next year or wait until my deal ends?  Anyone else finding this is the case?

These rises have been taking place throughout the year .

Don't think in terms of £'s - what are your actual annual consumptions in kWhs

Hi Robin9. I know annual consumption is important as well but for some mad, optimistic reason I believed I could lock in now before the really big increases in October as mentioned in the weekly email.  Wishful thinking I now know.

Of course you can lock in now but expect to lot more than you had been paying to So   (and you may pay an exit fee to So)

I signed up to a new tariff last week.
