What's the product? Is it one where you normally expect an initial odour - such as a mattress? You need to establish whether this is to be expected, or a fault.0 -
If it's foam, then it's normal for it to smell. It will normally dissipate in a couple of days, but it sounds like you're more sensitive to it than most, so it'll need longer.
I doubt you'll get a refund on that basis.0
