Investec: Two separate, incompatible UK savings platforms

I have been a happy Investec customer for many years and currently hold a number of different savings and currency accounts with them which I can access online or by their app. I have noticed that they are offering two new savings accounts (Online Flexi Saver and a Fixed Rate Saver) which have much better rates than the e-Saver account that I have. On trying to open the Online Flexi Saver account online, I discovered that it cannot be opened/operated via their existing online portal or app. They have set up a new platform for these accounts which is totally separate from their existing platform. This will mean going forward I will need two different Investec logins accessed from two non-compatible portals. There appears to be no plans to migrate one platform to the other. Bonkers or what? It is bad enough having to remember passwords/log in details for different institutions but now we are expected to have multiple log in details for the same institution!
