Redundancy Payment Service

My ex employer has gone into liquidation and I received a letter last week from the liquidator with details on how to claim unpaid wages.

I'm owed 2 months plus my statutory notice pay.  I've submitted form RP1 using my CN reference provided by the liquidator.

Does the Insolvency service pay out relatively quick? It says upto 6 weeks but wondering if people get paid much quicker than that

Will depend on work load and available staff etc etc. Six weeks will be quoted to manage expectatations.
  • I was advised payment was sent to my bank yesterday (Wednesday) and they mentioned it can take upto 10 working days. Seeks a bit long for a BACS payment, should I be receiving it within the next few days?

A BACS payment doesn't take 10 days. I'd assume that the payment is being processed and has to pass various stages of authorisation. Before finally being released.
