They refused to call me to help me as I was so worried and just sent anonymous and quite nasty emails - even after I telephoned their London office for help. I'm a pensioner with limited IT skills so could not send the photo they requested but they just were not interested - apparently I was a 'bad apple'! i was getting so upset, I closed the account myself and they refused to send the £10 I had earned to date. A nasty company!0

A nasty company!I had the same thing happen to me just last week. They blocked my account - supposedly because I'd given "incorrect" answers, "inconsistencies" in my account (whatever that may mean?) and "failing quality checks" - none of which are true. When I asked them to provide evidence of these supposed infringements, they refused. Now they're just ignoring my emails for further information. And as you say, it's a bit of a coincidence that they saw fit to block me just as I was approaching the cashout threshold. If there was some sort of governing body for research sites, I'd be reporting them pronto. It's fair enough to block people if they really are providing false information, but it's the fact that they can arbitrarily block your account without providing any evidence that irks me most of all.
