Onepoll: worth it?

I've read some poor reviews on the Google play app. Yet it's on the top 25 UK survey companies on this website. What's going on?

I get about £25 from them every 3 months or so. Easy quick surveys. Occasionally their web site is a pain- slow to load, or errors. But overall happy to continue..0

"Warning. A recent update to the app and website has left some users complaining about the number of surveys available, the speed of the website, and glitches in the app"
I used them for years and they were fine with regular short surveys and no payment issues - I dumped them when they changed hands and there was an enormous list of profile questions to answer and the surveys started to appear on swagbucks which then meant getting screening out on the onepoll site.
I have used dozens of sites in the past but now only use Populus Live. Pinecone and Consumer pulse2 -
I find similar experience to @Flycatchers Lots of small surveys to complete, paying between 10 to 20p each.
Generally log in 2 or 3 times daily and there are usually surveys to do, and payouts around every 3 months.
The website was very slow, but seems to have speeded up lately.
They used to do competitions 3 times a week on their Facebook page, but don't think they do them now.0 -
Ok thanks I will try it up to the first cash out as I'm already 600 PTS in. Seems not the best at registering surveys completed..I don't really know which ones credited as the history tab is empty.
Will check out Consumer pulse thanks for recommending0 -
Since about 2023 they seem to have a habit of unsubscribing and blocking peoples account including mine. And it always occurs just before a £25 cashout! Have been with them for the 17 years since they started. But despite appealing against the decision they aren’t answering my emails. So that’s one less survey company for me! Always have given honest answers but never got to the bottom of why they blocked my account!

Same happened to me last year, after being with them about the same amount of time as you. Their loss.

They eventually reinstated me so I could do another few surveys to get the £25. But don’t think I will continue this time going forward. They have blocked me three separate times so far without any real explanation. And I always am honest and aware of their “test” questions. So you never know when you will get blocked again. But it always seems to occur just before the £25 cashout! So can’t be bothered with then anymore!1

After reaching £25, I asked for the transfer. BUT, bad timing here, I then inadvertently blocked my account while on holiday in October (thought I'd complete a few surveys while have time however can only complete them when in the UK). This was my own doing, however since then I've not had my account reinstated and not received my £25. The customer service was quick beforehand however not since. I did actually send a photo of my driving licence and me holding it to prove my UK address, when this was requested following me blocking my account, but this wasn't acted on on their side. To be honest, as you can imagine I regret doing this due to the concerns around sharing personal information - also as this wasn't needed to set up the account in the first place and they track IP addresses so must know I completed the surveys in the UK. I just wanted my money owed now, to be honest, but giving up as they clearly have no intention of liaising with me again. The surveys were quick to complete mostly, do need to take part in many to build up the money. Just disappointed that this is the result for me after putting the time in and not receiving what I am due.1

Be VERY careful with this site, people! They blocked my account with no explanation and accused me of fraudulent activity and links to other accounts. They refused to call me to help me as I was so worried and just sent anonymous and quite nasty emails - even after I telephoned their London office for help. I'm a pensioner with limited IT skills so could not send the photo they requested but they just were not interested - apparently I was a 'bad apple'! i was getting so upset, I closed the account myself and they refused to send the £10 I had earned to date. A nasty company!1
