I'm sorry but how is that helpful? If this is classed as repayable training, with a training contract in place, you would end up having to pay for the unpaid training if you left! Do you really want to add another anchor to the employment? Because following this advice (and assuming the employer put it in writing as a training agreement) then you get to not be paid for training days AND you get to pay for the training if you leave!danjackson2021 said:

Any employer's liability insurance I have seen covers both paid employees and volunteers (which would include people on work experience etc. etc.). Basically anybody doing the employer's lawful bidding.0 -
