How do I paste a pic on here?

For the life of me I can't work out how to copy a picture from my PC and paste it into a post on here.
I can copy to the clipboard no problem, but when I try "Edit-Paste," the Paste button is greyed out.
If I try using the "Insert Image" icon in the toolbar above this post I get box asking for a URL, but my pictures don't have URLs.
Can anyone explain what am I doing wrong.

Sign up with www.photobucket.com or something similar. Upload you photo to there, and you just add the URL when you're making your post on here. See that icon that looks like a letter with a stamp in the corner (that'll be the insert image icon, won't it lol)? Well, you just add the URL in there.0

Try and copy and paste the 'direct link' address on photobucket. Make sure there is only one 'http://' in the 'insert image' box on here, as there's already one in the box. I just delete the one that's already there, and then just paste the address from photobucket.
