Universal Credit and starting a job

Hi. I get paid Universal Credit every month on 25th, however I have been offered a job that's due to start 4th September...will I still get a payment from UC in September (25th)? Or does it stop automatically?
Thank you, all advice appreciated

You will need to report the changes onto your journal once you start working. UC is based on earnings received during your assessment period. Whether you'll be entitled to anything will depend on your circumstances.

If you don't have the work allowance your earnings will reduce your UC by 63%. If you're entitled to the work allowance then you'll be able to earn a certain amount before the deductions apply.  Details here regarding work allowance.

Do you know when pay day is?  If its after 25th then you'll be paid Universal Credit in full all other things to do with your claim remaining the same

As UC payment date is 25th it is only earnings received up to 18th September that would affect the payment.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.
