What Small Things Will You Do This Week? 30/08/21

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation.  These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.

Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important 😀

    Morning Frugalistas,
Haven't made a list but up early as usual & hoping to get plenty done. 1st load of laundry churning at 30° & will be doing my regular start-of-the-week budget updates shortly plus making some bread dough & progressing a couple of projects. No spends required unless I actually manage to find some new bathroom curtains I actually like.
Am nearly on top of the courgette glut but will need to pick tomatoes & chillies today.
Wishing everyone a good frugal week,

    Morning all,
I am re-motivating myself by getting back on the Forum, and hopefully back on track!

    Today I will:

    1. Have a no spend day
    2. Stick to my meal plan (although I think I need to use up some left overs so I may have to adapt the meal plan slightly)
    3. Get clothes put away
    4. Put on a new a washing and get it hung out
    5. Read my library book if I get the chance.  I need to help out up a marquee later on a for a charity event we are having at the weekend, so I'm not sure if I'll get round to this.
Live the good life where you have been planted.
