They look like ‘Crop Circles” to me 😁0

Take care when you rake and get all the old stuff onto a sheet straight away.If it is a fungus you could spread it.Though dense grass and thatch can make the ideal conditions. Wouldn't have thought you'd have that on such a new lawn.Good luck.

Cats don't like citronella or cucumbers.
Citronella scented cucumbers maybe ?
Or those cats eye reflectors that freak cats out when the eyes shine back at them with low level solar lighting.
Cats also don't like lion poo, So maybe a pet lion ?

Interestingly, well to me, I've got a couple of burnt patches on my lawn near a flower bed my neighbours cat poos on regularly. I'm pretty sure it's that darn cat.But the patches are irregular, smaller and with no ring around like the OP's picture. So probably not cats there. Now, can anyone tell me how to stop this cat peeing on my lawn! It's not even a friendly cat and it's been a battle of wills for territory for the last 2.5yrs. Supposed to be an indoor cat.I've got cat scarers but I think the thing is deaf because she just walks past them.Lawn sprinkler maybe.
