Not seen this on here and it’s not been advertised widely by them. You need to have a smart meter and can be on any tariff. You need to sign up by the 31st August.

Hey everyone! We’re always trying out new things at Octopus, and currently we’re offering some customers getting smart meters 1 hour a month free power. It’s only a trial for now, and you can only opt on from 20 July to 31 August at midnight.
We’ve spotted this offer slightly blowing up on Hot UK Deals, and whilst it’s totally ok that someone popped it up there, and we're very happy for customers who already have a smart meter to get involved too, we need to keep an eye on it to make sure we don’t get loads of people signing up who aren’t eligible, and if we feel the trial’s being impacted, we may have to close early (as per our T&Cs).
