Bay window - three poles or tracks instead of one?

I have a standard large Victorian bay window in the living room.
Is there any reason I couldn't fit three separate curtain poles, one each for the two angled ones on the left and right (each with a single curtain) and then a larger one in the centre (with a pair of curtains).
The space between the windows is relatively tight anyway, so I think that once the pencil pleated curtains are in, it won't be that noticable, if at all. The current blind frames are fitted like that and they practically touch each other.
I like the look of curtains hanging between the window frames, rather than just the two edges too.
But everyone seems to buy (expensive) bay window curtain poles so wanted to check if I'd missed something?

I would say it depends on the size of the pillars at the corners of the bay. If they are large stone mullions, the main curtain across the front has somewhere to hide when drawn back. With thin corner posts, it may look a bit odd and the curtains would block a fair bit of the window during the daytime.Faced with a similar problem bay (1920s design), I opted for the custom pole, but not from the usual suppliers. Used a local stainless steel fabrication firm - They bent a length of 25mm polished SS tube and welded some brackets on for about £50. Custom need not be expensiveAny language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -
We have 3 tracks. No problem with them at all.

Thank you both.
The mullions (new word for me!) are wide so I think it would be OK.
I didn't know it could be so cheap to get them made custom that way!
But good to hear that tracks are also possible! That might be the best option if I don't go custom as they tend to be well hidden with pencil pleats too.0
