Will bulbs bought but not planted last year still be any good?

Hi,  last year I got a bit carried away with Thompson and Morgan's £3  bulbs offer,  and bought quite a lot.
As a result,  some of them didn't get planted -  mainly hyacinth bulbs,  some narcissus,  and a pack of 5 tulip bulbs that were delivered after everything else.
These have sat in their thick brown paper delivery bag away from light and heat all year.
If I plant them,  will they still be any good,  or is it a waste of time and compost,  I should just ditch them?
I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say. :)

They have two options, grow or die.
I'd plant them now unless you find some are just empty shrivelled shells.
The tulips could hang on for a bit depending on the type

If you're concerned about compost etc just pop them in the ground but remember where you do it [take photo?]
    Nothing ventured etc

I had bags of crocus from poundland that were kept badly for 2yrs and they did just fine.

As long as they still firm they should be okay.
