It's possible to get both accurate quotes and low costs. I agree that Freetrade.io are worth avoiding for anything serious. Degiro and Fineco are worth investigating. Fineco chare £2.95 if you trade shares but there's no commission if you trade the equivalent CFDs. It's perfectly feasible to play with CFDs on the Fineco platform with £20 and, in my opinion, the best way to learn is to dive in and play with a small amount. CFDs on Fineco are leveraged by default so it's not somewhere to go with large amounts until/unless you have become familiar with the set up and understand the risks.

Cheers yeah I think the Fineco universe is limited.

I can’t find MTI or TBLD(in the AIM100) for example.

Degiro has been mentioned previously too.  I will look to check if/what limitations they have.

    Neither are AIM100 index companies.

Tinybuild Inc is certainly available on Degiro but it looks like a very thinly traded stock. I don't know about MTI. My opinion remains the same in that you are better learning trading techniques with stocks that are easy to trade and which have low spreads.

That would suggest the London Stock Exchange is wrong?  To confirm I only said TBLD was in the AIM100.

Here is a link to the full list:
    https://www.londonstockexchange.com/indices/ftse-aim-100-index/constituents/table

When you sort constituents from Z to A, it is 15th on the list.

Yeah that’s what I thought WMB.  I usually prefer to go to source as brokers not always up to date.

That is a large bid/offer gap. This is a similar share price bid/offer with HL

Stand corrected. Some sources aren't up todate. A huge frustration.  :(
  • I would say the same for Bloomberg.  It’s becoming more expensive, but the quality of information seems to be going the other way!
