Not Received A Ticket - Do I have rights?

I have purchased a £30 Magpie Mover (essentially this allows travel within Tyne and Wear to and from Newcastle 3 hours before and 3 hours after a Newcastle United game).

It's sold through the Club web site(as it's only available to season ticket holders) but payment and administered to/by Network Ticketing Ltd (who are an arm of Nexus the public transport body).

The ticket was ordered before the season started but Nexus have been unable to cope with the volumes - so they offered all season ticket holders free travel on the first game of the season with production of your card. They still haven't actually sent any out so I called them to ask for an update and they basically said...tough we're busy.

So I'll need to buy a £6 day ticket on Saturday - I asked if I could claim this back and they advised - no it's tough - the demand is high.

I know it's a small amount but its the principle of it - do I have any legal rights at all?

For those of us that dont follow football... presumably Saturday's match isnt the first game of the season where they've already said you can have free travel via your season ticket card?

Yes, the first game they allowed free travel but they aren't doing it for this one.
  • Just for info, the Magpies were massacred 4-2 by the magnificent Hammers in the first home game of the season! 😁

Take it up with the club. While they are not supplying the ticket. It is their offer.
I'm sure Mike Ashley can afford to pay for them. 🤦‍♂️🤣
