Flat Roof Fascia Board

Is it possible to replace/repair the fascia board on a flat roof without replacing the flat roof? If not, what sort of ballpark costs should I be looking at to replace the roof, fascias and flashing (and anything else a roof needs) on a single storey flat roof around 3.2x2.7m? We are South West.

Yes it is possible, but....Had the fascia boards replaced here a few years back by a (supposedly) reputable local company. The first strong winds afterwards saw the felt being lifted and water coming through. The muppet that did the fitting had peeled the felt back at the edges and failed to make sure it went back down securely. He came back to do a repair which consisted of mastic to seal the ripped felt and clouts to hold it down. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -
You might have to get the drips redone. Depends on how much life is left in your roof.0

You can get a Felter to just renew the drips. If selling it might not be worth getting the lot done unless it's really bad.
Are the fascias really that bad?0 -
It's only that 1 fascia board that has lifted. I don't know if it's rotten or just warped as I don't have a ladder to get up there and check. The rest of the roof is not *too* bad. There is a small puddle that forms in heavy rain but no signs of leaks or damp inside.0

You might be able to get it back to the wall a bit, and then fill the gap, sand it and repaint it. Black fascias tend to warp more than white as they absorb more heat.1
