ok guys
so it seems that the other cofreeholder assumed that because she owned one of the garages that i owned one next to hers.
the title absolute (proprietor) is registered to the second house on the right (dated january this year) for the garage. it would seem the garage that has the same name as my address was transferred years ago and sold to another party (there’s 4 different parties that have right of way to the garages. me, cofreeholder and the other two properties on our right).
this is the only plausible explanation we can think of as the probate was only granted a few weeks ago for my maisonette purchase. i don’t see how the title absolute for the proprietor could be dated before the probate was granted if the deceased person (who i purchased the maisonette from) did own the garage originally.
the solicitor told me the second house on the right does have right of way as well (my mistake for this)4
