Letter of claim over historic parking charge

Hi, I've been reading through the 'Newbies Private Parking Ticket' posts - I have taken some of the early steps advised and I'm just wondering what I do now?
I received no response from the land owner, on 12 August I received an acknowledgement from DCB Legal that they have put my case on hold for 30 days and today I received my SAR from Vehicle Control Services Ltd.
Am I right reading it right that I just sit and wait the court claim now ("What if your LBC-stage complaint to the landowner doesn't get the PCN cancelled? you'll probably get a court claim (no worries - scam soon over, no risk)
and the results of the SAR will help, as it shows you their evidence
early = easier to defend.")

Thank you for the prompt reply - I have just completed the consultation. If I have further questions (well 'when' not 'if') Iraise them on htis thread? IE, do not open a new one?

How historic is historic? who is the landowner and why did the vehicle get a ticket?
From the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"2 -
The 'ticket' was issued 21/11/16. The Landowner is Wirral Waters (I think). I parked for half an hour with no permit, received a £100.00 charge.

You need to find out what the signage said at the time. If it was a permit car park, chances are that there was no offer of a contract to park if you didn't have one.KennyMc157 said:I parked for half an hour with no permit3 -
Have you complained to your MP?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

I imagine it's changed over time, but if it's possibly going to help I'll pop over to see what it says now.The_Slithy_Tove said:

I don't see any value in that. I used to work on a team dealing exclusively with MP enquiries and complaints for a govenrment body and saw first hand how much weight MP's complaints generally carry (ie, not a lot)D_P_Dance said:Have you complained to your MP?

Try Google Street View - it has a history feature where you can go back in time (like your own personal Tardis or De Lorean) - our regular poster @Fruitcake posted a tutorial on how to use it on the board a little while ago - and you should be able to find photos from the area at different times (fingers crossed).KennyMc157 said:
