Nationwide iOS app - Face ID issues?

Every now and again the iOS Nationwide app won't let me login using Face ID, I just get the background image screen - no error code is displayed. The only way to fix this is to toggle off and on the 'face id' setting in the Nationwide app settings or restart the phone. This happens on both my iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Mini. Anyone else seeing such behaviour on a face ID compatible iOS device? I reported this to Nationwide a few months ago but the problem still persists. So just wondering if its just me......
Thanks
Thanks

ThanksNope works for me everytime, it sounds like you're leaving the app running in the background once you've used it which isn't something I do.You might want to use this helpful link from the apple support page that shows you how to close apps fully.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:1 -
Not closing the app and then logging back in again not working properly is bad software, but somewhat predictable2

Thanks, will give that a try. But never had the same issue on other iOS banking apps using Face ID (First Direct, Amex, Santander, MBNA & RBS) and never had to close them in background after logging off. So not sure why Nationwide's app behaves differently....dr_adidas01 said:JenB79 said:Every now and again the iOS Nationwide app won't let me login using Face ID, I just get the background image screen - no error code is displayed. Not had this on the 12 pro or X, or iPad for that matter, will look out for and use workaround if I start to get it.1
