Paying off HP early and section 75 protection

Right. We've finally picked up the car. Nothing wrong with it it's all fine. Finance was on mrs lokowy so she phoned and paid it off completely including 13 days interest amounting to around 17£. I heard the guy saying that because it's within 14 days cooling off period the agreement is terminated. He said nothing else, my wife didn't want to hear about asking questions regarding section 75 protection and that's it. She said that because we'd paid for 3 year warranty she's not bothered. Case closed.
