Cassette Player Belts

I guess you are either wondering what cassette player belts are or know what they are and wondering why on earth someone is posting about them!
Anyway, I have an old Sharp Boombox that I've owned from the 80's and I'd like to replace the cassette drive belts. Other than Ebay where they seem to sell packs of 100 different ones for £20 does anyone know of a UK seller of this these? Part of the problem is I don't know the exact specs of the belts other than what Google throws up and I'm not sure how accurate that info is.
They will be difficult to replace so I'd rather not resort to trial and error.
Thanks

Sorry I can't think of anything profound, clever or witty to write here.

Do you know the exact model no?
There are some here - https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_ssn=mana_tree&store_name=manatreereplacementparts&LH_PrefLoc=2&store_cat=16552042015

I know them well - 70's/80's kid here who listened to music on a tape player!
These guys have a wide range of all sizes at reasonable prices if you want to support a small business:

Or a bigger range:

To determine the spec, use a piece of string or similar to run around the wheels, mark it and measure to determine the size you need - get the next size smaller than your string measurement to get some tension in the belt.
For the cross section, measure the remains of the old belt or best guess if not. Finally check whether it is square / flat / round.
Also give all the rollers a good clean with isopropyl alcohol before re-assembling.1 -
Thanks both. It's a Sharp GF555 twin cassette deck job. I've watched a Youtube vid of a guy replacing them and it looks hard enough to get the belts on let alone try and get a piece of string round but I do thank you for the suggestion.
Not sure whether you are familiar of with the workings (I wasn't until yesterday) but there's a roller that drives an idler wheel which turns the sprocket to take up the slack when a cassette is being played and that has perished - not sure how to fix this.
Sorry I can't think of anything profound, clever or witty to write here.0 -
Idler rubbers are available such as https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/303114301352. They might be a good contact too for other bits! That link shows several other parts suggestions.
