  • Haven’t had this issue at all I have 2 middle names and have done 4 antigen for U.K. arrivals in the last month and only used first name for testing.
For anyone panicking about testing etc I was on the last flight into Gatwick from Mexico 2 weeks ago at 315am had antigen done and booked day 2 only to stroll thru e gates. Docs were checked in Cancun before we departed but as we touched down and then flew on to Spain 26 hours later I didn’t use my day 2 home test kit till after we returned from Spain. Used the same booking ref for my plf and again, e gates in Heathrow and minimal checks coming home from Spain. Whole thing feels like a massive farce!

Everyone's COVID passport lacks middle names.  Can't say I've yet heard of anyone getting refused entry.

Your GP adding your middle name to your file will have no effect, the NHS App doesn't appear to import middle names from the database.

Except the covid ,inocculation and test info is now linked to your passport when you do the UK Passenger Loc form so when you go thru the E gates there is no need to show anything else so not a massive farce.

Other than the vaccination status is broadly irrelevant for a UK citizen's return to the UK... you won't ever be refused entry for not being vaccinated but you could be charged a fine for not pre-booking the correct tests for post arrival based on your vaccination status (and country traffic light)

Data point: I’ve just checked in at Heathrow with my vaccine certificate not my showing middle name without a problem.
