Yahoo Mail blocking messages from Eventbrite?

Has anyone else had this problem? A real issue for online meetings, since usually it is Eventbrite that sends the link for the meeting.

Any suggestions for resolving this? (And no, they are not going to my Spam folder and there is no way to contact Eventbrite.)

Working fine for me, getting 2 to 3 emails from them a week? (also on Yahoo mail)
  • Just signed up for Eventbrite using my Yahoo email address and have received acknowledgement. So looks like Yahoo ain't the problem.

Most odd - I get this sometimes with my 1&1 email account, it won't receive emails from hotmail, they don't go to spam, just disappear into cyberspace.
I also have a gmail account, so use this if I get a problem.

  • Have you ever received an email from Eventbrite?
If not, is it worth checking that you gave them the correct email address?
If so, can you add the sender to your contacts list? Unlikely to resolve the problem, but it is worth a shot.

There is no guarantee that eventbrite always use the same server to send email; it is possible that one of the servers they use is on a naughty list that Yahoo uses.

And there is no guarantee that Yahoo has the same configuration on all its mail servers, so one persons experience may not be consistent with another. If you are certain you have given eventbrite the right email address, then maybe you need a second email account with another email provider. It is a nuisance I know, but other than running your own mail server there is not a lot else you can do.
A dream is not reality, but who's to say which is which?

Yes, it worked well for a number of months. And I still receive emails from them about events that might interest me. It is only the emails that really matter: when I arrange to 'attend' an event it says it has sent me an email with the link, but that email does not arrive.
