What to do with Spouse's Work Pension

Hi
My husband passed away last year, I have just received a letter from his workplace pension advising my annual entitlement, when it will be paid etc.
As I don't need this to live day to day, I am thinking about putting it into my own personal pension with Pension Bee.
Is that the best thing to do?
I'm 47 and currently thinking around making sure I have enough money for my own retirement, hence this thinking.
Thanks

I think you would be better off posting this question on the pensions board.

It sounds like this is a defined benefit ( final salary) scheme, in which case you will not be able to transfer it.But it is likely to provide you with a guaranteed income for life, which any pension with Pension Bee cannot

I agree with the suggestion that you post on the Pensions board, where you are likely to be asked some details of your late husband's pension

I am very sorry for your loss.
