Can a family member, who is not a beneficiary, live temporarily in a house, so it is not left empty? Is there an example agreement anywhere for this?

The executors of the deceased's will are responsible for safeguarding the estate until such time as it can be distributed to the beneficiaries.
Have they spoken to an insurer concerning insuring the property during administration?
It may well be that the premium will be less if the insurer is advised that there will be a caretaker in residence.
It would be advisable to consult a solicitor about a suitable contract.0
