White porcelain patio

Has anyone laid one? How does it fair? Get dirty much? Too bright?
Interested to hear or see pictures as I ponder whether I want to go with that colour.

What tiles are you planning to use?
I used these

Just installed a grey 20mm tile with a travertine type pattern which looks really good and hides the dirt. I personally wouldn’t go for a pure white patio as it will need constant cleaning to keep it looking perfect. Go for an off white or something with a bit of a pattern.

So much to read, so little time.1 -
They are a good price, and people that have bought them seem to love them.LilMissSunshine said:
If that's what you want then go for it, but remember these are tiles that will require maintenance purely because of the colour. No man is worth crawling on this earth.

I'd say it looks great if you live in Miami or LA or if simply want a statement piece but for a practical and usable garden patio in the UK it looks like it would be far too much hard work keeping it pristine. I'd imagine it would be covered in marks in just a day after use.LilMissSunshine said:
Just my opinion though.2 -
See if this works

The patio you're looking at seems fine, go for it if that's what you want.

Looks much better as an outdoor tile. How much did it cost, all in? (And do you have side access?).Rdwill said:See if this works
Eta: did your neighbour forget to finish the exterior side of his extension? No man is worth crawling on this earth.

All in, concrete slab, tiles, labour about £2k for that.
Yes, I have another sliding door out of the living room, on the gable end of the house, opening onto a 'slab' patio.
That's a conservatory next door to me, its set back about 300mm from the boundary, she has never painted that end. It was built before I moved in. One decent snow event and it'll probably fall down.1
