Terms and Conditions (shortened to fit the post size limit)

1. The Prize

The prize includes:

• A 7-day getaway for 2 people sharing at Oase by 7 Star Lodges in South Africa.
• All meals and drinks throughout the stay.
• Economy Class flights departing from the winner’s nearest international airport, to and from Johannesburg’s Oliver Tambo International Airport, South Africa.
• Economy class flights from Johannesburg to and from Hoedspruit (Eastgate Airport).
• If arrival times do not permit same-day connections to Hoedspruit, guests will stay overnight in the 5-star InterContintental Johannesburg O.R Tambo Airport Hotel before continuing onward travel the next day. The same may apply for departure flights.
• Transfers between the hotel and airport in Johannesburg where applicable
• Transfers between the airport and the lodge.
• Self-drive, game drives using the Oase Lodge’s 4×4 vehicle.
• Guided walks inside the resort
• One private bush dinner
• The prize has an approximate retail value (“ARV”) of $10,000 USD.

The prize is not transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other alternative.

Promotion dates:

• This Promotion will run from the 21st of August until the 30th of November 2021.

Redeemable dates:

• The prize must be utilized between 1 July 2022 and 30 June 2023.
• Dates are subject to availability at the Oase by 7 Star Lodges as well as flight availability.
• In the event of the impossibility to travel within the time period stated above, due to Covid 19 travel ban restrictions or legislation, the Promoter agrees to extend the above period for a further 12 months until the 30 June 2024.

Exclusions are as follows:

• Gratuities
• Any extras of a personal nature
• Personal travel insurance obtained in your home country prior to arrival in South Africa
• Personal medical supplies such as malaria prophylaxis and other medication
• Transfers or related expenses incurred by the winner and his/her guest travelling to and from the winner’s nearest international airport.
• Any expenses related to vaccinations or tests required in order to travel to and from South Africa
• Any expenses incurred as a result of having to enter a quarantine period due to Covid 19 restrictions or legislation when returning to your country of origin.

Approximate Retail Value of Prize “ARV”

• The ARV of the Prize, set forth above represents the Promoter’s good faith determination of the ARV thereof and the actual fair market value, as ultimately determined by Promoter, cannot be challenged, or appealed by the Prize Winner.
• Reporting and payment of any applicable federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner.

1. How to Enter

The Promotion is open to all Doculife users.

To enter the Promotion, participants must sign up to Doculife and create a free account.

As soon as the user has logged into his/her account, he/she will automatically be entered to participate in the draw.

Participants may not create multiple Doculife accounts for the purposes of participating in this Promotion.

1. How to Get More Entries

Throughout the Promotion, the more the participants use Doculife, the more entries they will get and the greater the chance of winning. The chances of winning are determined by the number of entries, all entries have an equal chance.

Using Doculife generates a score, calculated, and logged in the system. For the duration of the Promotion, all users scores will be converted into entries using a specific formula. So, the more actions carried out using Doculife, the higher the score, and the more entries gained.

Participants will be able to see and track the number of entries they have by checking out the counter widget located inside the Promotion Binder.

Every week, Doculife will give participants tips and hints on how you to increase their score and get more entries.

1. The Draw

At the end of the Promotion, a winner will be selected from all the valid entries by random draw by software.

The draw will take place on the 10th of December 2021 at 12:00 UTC.

1. Weekly Draw

In addition to the main prize, every week between the 21st of August and the 27th of November, Doculife will give away one Unlimited Annual Subscription valued at 35.99 USD.

The winner will be selected by random draw from a list of users who have been active inside Doculife in the week preceding the draw. A user will be deemed to have been active if his/her user score has increased in the 7 days leading up to each draw.

The weekly draws will take place every Friday at 12:00 UTC.

1. Notifications

The winner will be notified by email within 7 days of the draw.

If the winner/s cannot be contacted or does/do not claim the prize within 30 days of the draw, Doculife reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

1. The Prize Winner

It will be the responsibility of the prize winner (and, if applicable, the Guest that accompanies them) to take out at their own cost all relevant insurance (including but not limited to health and travel insurance, insurance for theft, loss and damage to property) and provide proof of aforementioned insurance prior to departure.

It is the responsibility of the prize winner (and, if applicable, the Guest that accompanies them) to ensure their ability to travel to the destination and return home and, in particular, to:

a. ensure that they have a valid passport endorsed with all relevant visas and with expiry date no less than six (6) months following the proposed dates of travel or such other duration as may be required by any relevant regulation. These passports, and their holders, must not be subject to any restrictions on their rights to travel to and from the applicable destination country. Passport control and in-country authorities may reserve the right to refuse entry to prize winners and/or their travelling companions.

b. check any travel advisories issued by the Government and determine whether they wish to accept the risk of travelling to the destination;

c. obtain any inoculation and comply with any health regulations required by the destination country; and

d. comply with the terms and limitations of airlines, other transport providers, and the venues involved in the provision of the prize, including any insurance policy relating to the trip. In particular, entrants must comply with all health and safety guidelines and instructions and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Doculife will not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by any prize winner (and/or any Guest that accompanies them) that arises out of their failure to arrive at the destination or return home from the destination, nor will Doculife have any obligation to substitute an alternative prize, cash equivalent or other compensation where a prize winner (and/or their travelling companion) is unable to travel to the destination or fails to redeem the prize for any reason.

1. Promotion Binder – Win a trip to Africa

Participants will have access to the “Win a trip to Africa” Binder inside Doculife containing:

• details of the Promotion
• the number of entries a user has (via a counter widget placed inside the binder)
• weekly tips and hints of how the users can increase their scores and thus get more entries.
• the Promotion terms and conditions

It is the participants’ responsibility to check this binder regularly for any updates, notifications and/or pertinent information relating to the Promotion.

The Promotion is organized by Doculife Global Inc. hereinafter the Promotor or Doculife.

To enter the Promotion, participants must be over 18 years old and legally able to participate under local law.

This Promotion is open to residents in any of the following countries: USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand; Canada, South Africa, Ireland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, India, Finland, Mexico, except where local laws prohibit.

Exceptions to the above are the following: Florida, New York, Rhode Island in the USA; ACT, Northern Territory and Southern Australia in Australia and Quebec in Canada.

The Promotion is not open to employees of Doculife nor their close relatives.

In order to be eligible to enter, participants must have access to a computer, phone or tablet and internet service. Free internet services are usually available in many cities.

No purchase is necessary to enter the Promotion.

All entries must be received by midnight UTC on 30 November 2021.

Participants may not create multiple Doculife accounts for the purposes of participating in this Promotion.

Participants must enter the Promotion using their legal name only. Doculife reserves the right to disqualify any participant who uses multiple names and or creates multiple accounts and to require them to return any prize they may have won.

If a participant deletes his or her account at any time prior to the draw, he or she will no longer be eligible for the draw and all entries accrued up to the date when the account was deleted will be null and void.

Likewise, the use of any automated software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits participants to increase and acquire entries over and above what would be considered through normal use of Doculife is prohibited. Any participant found to have abused the system will be disqualified.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and condition and/or rules specified in the Promotion Binder.

Doculife Global Inc. reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the Promotion will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.
