Told not to drive by doctor for 4 weeks - do I need to tell my car insurance company?

Hi there,

Wondering if anyone can help. I was diagnosed (wrongly I believe) with a 'possible TIA' (when the turn happended I went to hospital and was given the all clear but needed an explination and was given the diagnosis with no evidence I think due to family history) and told not to drive for 4 weeks from the event. I am self employed and losing money every day that I'm unable to drive. What I need to know is -
1. Do I need to inform my car insurance company (obviously I won't be driving)?
2. DVLA?
3. Can I automatically drive when the month is up?

Thank you
