Christmas suprise ruined :(

I purchased a gift for my boyfriend from www.findagift.com for 34.95 I paid 3.95 for gift wrapping and 2.95 postage. The gift to be delivered to his house as we live 200 miles apart. I told him it would be arriving. It arrived today in a large box (it was only a small gift) when he opened the box there was the gift , unwrapped no message and an invoice included inside,
It has completely ruined our Christmas that gift was supposed to be opened on Xmas morning and not today :(

    That's so awful :(

You definately have the right to complain, you didn't get the service you paid for.
  • I have complained but getting the gift wrap price back doesn't get over the disappointment that the actual Christmas Present is ruined for the day now :(

That's horrible. Feel sorry for you. It's horrible to put alot of thought and effort into something, think you've done a good job and then have that happen. You must be so disappointed.

    Yup that's an understatement :(
  • But why did he open it? I mean you told him a pressie was coming didnt you? regardless of the size, If it was me and i was expecting an xmas pressie through the post, i wouldnt have opened a box that arrived as i would pressume that would be it

But its bad they didnt have the item gift wrapped.

Also, this isnt a SCAM, you may want to contact the MODS and ask this thread to be moved to the CONSUMER VENT FORUM, as you are venting at findagift.com

Maybe if you complain enough, saying how it's ruined your Christmas etc, you might even get a refund for the gift itself? You could then go about buying another Christmas present for your partner and this time post it yourself wrapped up like it was meant to be.

Because it was just in an ordinary brown box quite large I tiold him to expect a small box. And it was one of a few packages that arrived for him today
