Hello,
Me and my partner are looking at putting an offer in on a steel framed construction house. Has anyone had any experience with these types of houses and have problems occurred?

We know that the house already has some offers on the table and we would have to submit a best and final offer by 1pm tomorrow.
Here is a link to the house.
Kings Tamerton Road, Plymouth

We are also worried that we will offer to much over the asking price so any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Someone here may well be able to identify the type of steel construction.
Do you need a mortgage? And do you have an advisor who is used to dealing with steel frame construction? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Yes we need a mortgage and have spoken to an advisor who has said that they don’t see a problem with getting a mortgage on it. They have said it’s done on a case by case basis.RAS said:Someone here may well be able to identify the type of steel construction.

I think I’m most worried about potential resale issues in the future and if any structural problems are likely to occur.0 -
That looks like a BISF house to me, which santander and Halifax should lend on no problem. How does the price compare to standard construction houses nearby?0
