Avro Energy Owe Me £500 - Ofgem Regulations Breached

Hi everyone, I'll try to keep this short and to the point as I want to highlight this awful company and strongly encourage people NOT to sign up with Avro Energy.

I had accumulated £500 account credit after the winter period (busy months for usage), so I clearly needed to reduce my monthly direct debit. I emailed Avro and they said no, you should actually increase the amount by another £20. I asked them where's the logic in this? It makes no sense as I have £500 credit. They fobbed me off so I decided to leave Avro.

Here's a timeline of events:
25th May - I requested an energy provider change with Igloo energy.
10th June - opening meter readings provided to Igloo.
15th June - Energy switch complete with Igloo.
1st July - Final bill provided by Avro.

I'm still waiting for the £500 Avro owe me. They ignore all my emails now and never answer their phone lines. I logged a complaint with Ofgem about 1-2 weeks ago and am waiting for that to progress.

Avro are scum bags and a disgrace of a company, it won't surprise me if they go bust soon. They clearly owe a fair amount of people money based on recent google etc. reviews that I've seen.

Do not use Avro energy and I would strongly suggest leaving them if you are currently with them.

Avro used to be very good, but sadly now they seem to be in meltdown.
See the main Avro thread and listen to the report on Radio 4's You and Yours (starts at 32:34).

Just one query - was the Avro final bill based on the readings given to Igloo ? Because of the pressure OFGEM has put on the industry to produce final bills within 6 weeks of leaving, many suppliers appear to be getting into the habit of producing interim "final" bills based on estimates, then reissuing final bills at a later date with a modified credit/debit amount based on the agreed changeover reads.
