Is it okay to leave laminate flooring in the garage?

Hi,
Just had 2 pallets of laminate flooring delivered from B&Q and they won't take it up the stairs into our flat despite having agreed before delivery! Luckily we have a garage on the ground floor so the courier has left the flooring and the underlay in the garage (still on pallets so the flooring is not touching the ground directly).
Is it okay to leave it in the garage? We won't have this fitted for at least a couple of weeks so ideally don't want to have to carry it all up 2 flights of stairs unless necessary.
Thanks.

OK for now so long as their no risk of damp but you'd want to have it in the intended rooms for at least 48hrs to acclimatise before installation.3

A couple of weeks on pallets in the garage at this time of year should be fine. But do bring it indoors a few days before it is due to be fitted to give the laminate to adjust to the difference in climate.

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1 -
You should really get it up to the rooms where it will be laid; this allows it to acclimatise to the humidity levels in that room. That should reduce the amount of movement in the boards after it's laid. The fitters might even insist it's been in that room for at least 2 days before they install it.Just think of the temperature and humidity fluctuations in your garage betwixt day and night.(Read the label on one of the packs - that should make it clear.)1

Your opening post seems to suggest that you were expecting it to be delivered to your flat.
Why is it necessary to leave it in the garage for any length of time?
Get it move inside at your earliest convenience.0 -
Are you 100% sure there's no risk of damp in the garage? 2 weeks from now will be the second week of September by which time summer will be turning. No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.0 -
Just looking up at my parent's living lantern this morning and there is plenty of wet condensation visible (I'm in one of the warmest and dryers parts of the country). I really don't think it's a good idea to leave the laminate in the garage for any length of time.
Move a sofa and stack it up behind, you can live with this for a fortnight surely?

I don't understand why there is an issue, if B&Q had delivered as agreed, it would be upstirs in your flat now; you must have planned for it!0

Leaving it where it is won't magically get it up the stairs. The installer isn't going to move it without being paid for the extra time taken, and you don't want to pay a skilled flooring fitter's hourly rate for carrying some boxes.0 -
Plus the installation could turn out badly if the boards are only brought in when needed.
The longer you let it sit in the room where it will be installed the better.0 -
..and please lay them flat on the floor.1
