Flush casement vs. Protruding casement windows

I haven't yet had quotes but am wondering if anybody has received quotes for a set of protruding (i.e. the usual) casement PVC windows, and a quote for the same set of windows but flush casement?
I prefer the flush look but am unsure if they are considerably more expensive?

I like the look of the flush fit ones too. You can run a quick price comparison through the below, which is a supply only window and door company I previously used. For a basic 1200 x 1200 window with one left opening and one top opening section the difference between standard and flush fitting was only about £35

This was a quote we had earlier in the year

    . 6 upvc windows, 1 composite door ( standard upvc)......£6215
    . 6 upvc windows, 1 composite door ( flush fit).....£7768

We went with a different company (well 2 really) and paid £3235 for standard windows and £1350 for the door with a second company.

We got flush windows and they were about 20% more than the standard ones.  They do look very nice ...
