Went to Tesco to get a few things for the house, came to £7.18 nothing else was spent though.
14th January
Accepted the job offer, posted the forms they needed and handed in my notice, such a good feeling! I paid out £3 in subs to play football.
15th January
Been quite an expensive day today, a full tank of petrol has lasted me since new years day but finally needed filling up, cost me £34.01 in total, also bought a paper for 40p.
Spent £29 on 2 football match tickets, a saving of £2 on each if I had paid on the day, I will be driving down also but taking people with to share the petrol money.
I also paid £30 as a registration fee to take part in the Great Manchester 10k Run. Was a bit shocked at how much it was but it's something I've wanted to do and achieve for a while now plus I will be raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Research.Lightbulb Moment  (10/12/07) :j

I've just got my calculator out and it looks like in just over the month since you started this diary you've spent over £40 on cups of tea, McD's, takeaways and all those little bits and bobs...that's quite a lot of money over the year...perhaps something to think about?
Congrats on the new job too btw...:)0 -
Well done for starting your diary, i havent been here that long myself.
Havent really made many comments on peoples diaries but just been reading yours and one thing that sticks out to me is the amount your spending on tickets/travelling to football. Its cost you over £150 since you started your spending diary and the doesnt count the season ticket coming out of your account!
Also your "on offer" computer that is £650 is actually costing you £948 so basically it is costing you £300 in interest! You say your old computer is a bit slow but is there anything wrong with it apart from that?
Your close to your limits on things so adding more financial commitments isnt helping your situation at all. You should still be in your time limit for taking it back and i have to say in your situation i think that would be best.
Does it really sound like such a good deal when the actual price you are paying is £948? not £650
