Google Play will have refused refund request.

Hi all
A few months ago I signed up to Google Play to gain more photo storage. Many of my photos have been stored but many  more (over 1000) will not save onto the Google account. I have emailed the errors several times to Google, however, they just kept closing down my requests for help.  Finally I asked for a full refund of the £25.00 a year cost but I have been refused and told to contact  the developers if I still have issues.  I have no idea of how to do this and as I far as I am concerned I have paid £25.00 for something which is not fully storing my photos.  I don't know what to do next and would be grateful for any advice.

    HI Tadley
Thanks for replying.  One of the errors is ' upload skipped 705 files. These files are too small to upload'.
The second error is ' Cannot convert 833 photos to Storage saver quality. They will continue to be stored as orignal quality in Google drive using 11mb of storage'.   Regarding the second error I don't know if all the 833 photos are saved or not.

I've had a quick look at that link Ivan but I am not very good at technology. From the posts on the link it seems that nothing can be done about it?

    Hi Gavin
Cannot find your post now but I checked the link you sent and I am paying  for 200 GB storage but only using 0.32 GB of this according to the link.

If 833 photos are only taking 11Mb of storage, are you sure that you  are actually trying to upload the actual images, it seems to me that you are trying to upload thumbnails or somesuch. Usually images would be in excess of 1Mb each, and top quality ones much greater.

What are the file types. Usuall .jpg, .tiff .psd would indicate decent images?

    Just my thoughts.

Hi Whitefiver. These are jpg. images. I have google play on my desktop and thought it auto backed up the images? When I open google play to look at the photos I am getting the unable to upload error messages above.

Are you sure you don't mean Google Photos?

Google Play is the app store on Android devices, any money you add to that is used to buy apps, games, and digital content.  It would have nothing to do with your photo allocation.

I suspect you may either be talking about Google Photos or (since you make mention of your desktop) Google Backup and Sync (which connects with Google Drive).

Hi Neil. Yes it is Backup and Sync for desktop 200GB photo storage but I'm sure when I try to cancel it comes under Google Play.
