I see. I took Farfetch's 'particularly if unauthorised' to mean that an authorised overdraft would have less of an impact. My mistake.
That said, it is a joint account, and my wife had no problem recently getting a new phone contract, so why it would affect me and not her is beyond me. But clearly there's more magic than science involved in all this.0 -
Joint account doesn't make any difference, just means your finances are linked and they don't like something on your record.0
