Ryanair check in

Hi there , just looking for some clarity.
Just gone to check in online for a flight to Greece with Ryanair.
Only taking hand luggage so would normally be able to go straight through security
when arriving at the airport.
However a message came up saying non EU/EEA passport holders still have to go to the
check in desk with a printed boarding pass to have it validated.
Does this apply to UK citizens now ?
Never heard of this being mentioned before.

    This is when they will
do all the COVID checks required for entering Greece ie:
    • completed a Passenger Locator Form (PLF)and
    • Proof of a negative COVID-19 test, or
    • Proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at least 14 days before travel
You can’t board without these .
  • I am aware of the required documents, this can be checked before boarding. No other airline is asking you to go to the check in desk if you have checked in online. Just Ryanair for non EU passport holders.

and they also contradict that here https://help.ryanair.com/hc/en-hr/articles/360017683417-Mobile-Boarding-Passes
"Mobile boarding passes are available to EU/EEA/UK Nationals. Eligible customers must hold a valid passport or national identity card issued by the government of a EEA country or UK, and must be departing from an airport that will accept a mobile boarding pass."
    • Thanks for the replies. We are going to Greece and we have printed off the boarding pass. There is no mention of this on the pass. So I presume we are OK to go straight through security without going to check in desk.

From the statement above as it is not mentioned  on your boarding pass it should not apply to you.

If your boarding pass contains 'EU' on it and you have a barcode, then you should be ok.

I know Wizz still contains this for UK passports, not sure about Ryanair.
