Cancelling a Cruise Holiday

We booked a cruise - our very first - in early March 2020, pre covid and no restrictions whatsover in place. The cruise sails in Nov 21 on a round trip to Nprthern Norway from Dover. We paid a hefty deposit on booking and apart from the initial flurry of emails confirming the booking we heard nothing from the bokking agent…

We booked a similar cruise to Norway departing in October, but our cruise line cancelled it about a month ago. I guess all cruise lines are different - we'd still like to go, even with the extra precautions, but have decided to have a staycation this year and may look at a cruise for 2022/23. Sorry you've been put in this position.
