Can I safely block santander@email2.yoursantander.co.uk or is it ever used for something important?

I'm receiving annoying marketing emails from this address every few weeks. The latest was "our new app feature My Money Manager". Like previous emails encouraging me to use additional features or services this is not a important message about my account or security. It is marketing. My marketing preferences remain opted-out but Santander doesn't care so I'm about to block this address. Has it ever been used for something genuinely important?
From what I've received it looks like the address for genuinely relevant emails only come from these 2:
donotreply@communications.santander.co.uk
customerservices@santander.co.uk
customerservices@santander.co.uk

Are you sure they're really from Santander? If they are then maybe you should just double-check your email preferences (if you can) to not get marketing emails.
But they might be spam. I rarely get marketing emails from Santander but, only today, got one that claimed to be from a similar address to the one you give above (though in this case a clear spoof as <santander92466213@email7707.yoursantander.co.uk>) and that was definitely spam, with a link whose real destination was some website in Thailand.
But I'd re-check your email preferences first, and turn off marketing!1 -
In my experience anything important comes from donotreply@communications.santander.co.uk. Anything else usually goes to my junk folder. The spams are usually easy to spot because they don't contain my postcode and the spelling and grammar are appalling.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

I get those emails from Santander as well.
On a regular basis.
I find them intrusive to say the least
They are most definitely from Santander.
And my marketing preferences are set to No for everything.

Santander spammed me to get the app. They they spammed me to use the chat. Marketing was no for everything. I complained and got £50. I still get their spam. I should complain again.

I agree really - "we hope you're enjoying Money Manager" when I don't know what it is, let alone used it!

I delete them but next time I get one I might save it & make a complaint.
£50 would be very useful.

I think they are genuine, but "hope you're enjoying Money Manager" is annoying.
I used to use the wallet app, but this new thing does automatic things apparently.0
