CCA Query - Statements Received (PRA Group)

Hi DFW's,
Hope you're all well. With the help from this forum I was able to request 4 CCA's last year - 3 couldn't 1 did and I settled that account. I stopped payment to PRA last year, but today I have received a letter 'Re - request for CCA 1974'. Attached is approx 100 pages of bank statements dating from 2005-2011. The letter asks me to contact them to discuss the account. I am assuming by sending me a list of transactions/ statement, this is NOT a CCA and therefore I can ignore? Regardless, should I respond to tell them its not a CCA? It took them a year to send these, but concerned CCA will follow. Any advise would be greatly received
Kind Regards
JB

If you redact any private information on it sourcrates and fatbelly would be able to say if it was a genuine cca1

Looks like a current account - s77-79 requests do not apply to those accounts0

Bank statements are not the documentation required to satisfy a CCA request.
This is an excerpt from the Debt Camel website.What if they do send the CCA agreement?
How can you tell if it is right?
You have to be sent a “true copy” of the agreement – this doesn’t have to be a photocopy of the original agreement. It must be legible and it must include:
- your name and address when the account was opened;
- the creditor’s name and address when the account was opened;
- the terms and conditions of the account at that time, including the cost of credit (the Annual Percentage Rate), when you have to make payments and your cancellation rights; and
- any other documents that were mentioned in the Terms and Conditions.

I originally had 2 debts with Natwest, 1 was a loan, the other was an overdraft facility on current account at the time. When I originally wrote to PRA roughly 12m ago, I did a CCA for both. They didnt send, so I advised I would stop payment and other than the odd email I've had nothing since this. I assumed the overdraft had a similar CCA?0

If they've combined two accounts (loan and overdraft) then, if they started a court claim, I think the claim could be stayed because of the non-compliance with the cca request on the loan.
I think continue with your position and get further advice if you get a pre-action letter1 -
i think pra are chancers. They sent me similar when i requested a cca. I wrote back saying this isnt what i requested. They wrote back saying they were waiting for the correct documents. That was 4 years ago, nothing sent since , apart from an occasional pra statement. Ive never paid them a penny.2

They do tend to be 'bottom feeders' to make an allusion to tropical fish-keeping. They like to buy the cheap rubbish that others won't touch and then see what they can make on it. IIRC the infamous Mackenzie Hall got absorbed into that group.
I miss those days. They were fun.1 -

Ten calls a day, threats to "remove my furniture" will stay with me forever !!
So very PC these days, a world of difference to "Mike, and his threats to tell all to my neighbours".
