Tesco misleading customers over E10 since 14th August, or earlier, pushing some to pay more

Tesco relabeled their pumps way too early as the first deliveries aren't due until 1st September causing customers whose cars are not designed for E10 to follow AA advice and purchase the more expensive Super petrol. Tesco is refunding the difference, but only on request.
The staff know these labels are misleading and feel bad about it
, but management has instructed them not to cover up the E10 labels!
I have informed Trading Standards but nothing has changed.

E10 designates petrol that has ethanol content of up to 10% not is 10% so they are not doing anything wrong.7

They were in training for this with Father Christmas but there are some concerns about the number that might have Covid-19 by 31 August and not be able to help out that night so Tesco have pre-empted any problems.HHarry said:The alternative is for the labelling Fairies to run around every petrol station on the night of the 31st August.
