in Credit cards
I used a Tesco Store cashpoint, this morning, only to change the PIN for my Tesco Credit Card.
Inserted the card and selected "PIN services". Then the only request was to enter new PIN, then enter new PIN, again. The original PIN was not needed. That can't be right? i.e. somebody steals your card, goes to cash machine, enters a new PIN for their fraudulent use!

The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:1

I've never been asked to enter my current PIN when changing it - just the new PIN twice to confirm it. Presumably they verify you are the legitimate card holder when you first insert the card and enter your PIN before getting to the main menu.
Otherwise if the ATM is dodgy, they won't get very far by not asking for your current PIN at any point anyway...1 -

You must enter your PIN before you can do anything else.

The OP must have put the PIN in while on 'autopilot' without thinking about itI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?2
